No. 30 ABF Chevy to Race This Weekend at NASCAR Nationwide Series Bashas’ Supermarket 200

The No. 30 ABF Chevrolet makes its 2012 debut in Phoenix this weekend. Following his dramatic victory in Daytona last week, James Buescher will again slide behind the wheel of the No. 30 Chevy, which will carry the name and colors of ABF.

“Obviously, we are headed to Phoenix still on cloud nine from winning Daytona last Saturday afternoon,” said Buescher. “As a driver, getting that first win is a huge deal.  We have had a week to celebrate and let it all soak in, and I am ready to get back behind the wheel of the ABF Chevrolet.”

Scheduled for Saturday, March 3, the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 can be seen live on ESPN2 with race coverage beginning at 4 pm EST from Phoenix International Raceway. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 90. Qualifying is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, televised by SPEED. Practice sessions are scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., also televised by SPEED.

James Buescher will be at the Chevrolet Racing display located outside of the main grandstands on Saturday at 8 a.m. EST.  He will answer questions in addition to signing autographs for fans.

“We ran the new track configuration last fall and I really like what they have done with the racing surface. You can pass on the outside, which makes it very exciting for the fans. I am really looking forward to this weekend and seeing what our ABF Chevy can do,” said Buescher.

The No. 30 ABF Chevrolet Impala team will bring chassis TMS-314 to the Phoenix International Raceway for Saturday’s 200-lap race.  TMS-314 is a brand new chassis to the No. 30 ABF Chevrolet team.

This will be the first of four NASCAR Nationwide Series races where ABF serves as the primary sponsor of the car, owned by Turner Motorsports.
