ABF Racing Completes Seventh Season
2011 Nationwide Series Ends
ABF Racing recently completed its seventh season as a proud marketing partner of Turner Motorsports. During the 2011 racing season, ABF was among the sponsors of Turner’s No. 30 NASCAR Nationwide Series Chevrolet.
The ABF logo and colors adorned the hood of the No. 30 Impala in four Nationwide Series events, which were driven by NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor James Buescher:
• April 16, Talladega Superspeedway (started 15th, finished 23rd)
• April 29, Richmond International Raceway (started 36th, finished 22rd)
• May 14, Dover International Speedway (started 12th, finished 8th)
• Nov. 5, Texas Motor Speedway (started 20th, finished 17th)
“It was great to get the chance to represent ABF in the Nationwide Series again. I made my third-ever Nationwide Series start with their support in 2008 and brought home a top-15,” said Buescher.
Throughout the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series, the No. 30 team saw an array of drivers. Along with Buescher, driving duties were shared among fellow Turner Motorsports drivers Jason Leffler, Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne, and Ricky Carmichael. Joining ABF as marketing partner of the No. 30 team were AccuDoc Solutions, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Monster Energy, Great Clips, Sporting Kansas City, Dollar General, and Rexall.
The No. 30 Chevrolet team captured two top-five and 10 top-10 finishes throughout the 34-race season, with their best finish coming at Indianapolis Raceway Park where James Buescher posted a runner-up finish.
“ABF was pleased to have James Buescher behind the wheel of the No. 30 ABF Chevrolet Impala this year,” said Russ Aikman, ABF director of marketing. “It was an exciting year as we watched James compete, and we look forward to next season.”
